Garivo is provided by Webavio. This policy explains how the Garivo mobile application handles information. Garivo is designed to keep your vehicle information private and under your control.
Information you add
Garivo lets you store vehicle details and photos, maintenance records, expenses, fuel or charging entries, preferences and reminders. This information is stored locally on your device. Garivo does not require an account and Webavio does not receive this app data.
Receipt scanning
If you choose to scan a receipt or select one from your photo library, Garivo uses on-device text-recognition technology provided by the operating system. Receipt images and recognised text are not uploaded to Webavio.
Notifications
If you enable service reminders, Garivo asks for notification permission and schedules the reminders locally on your device. You can change this permission in Garivo or in your device settings.
Device backups
Your operating system may include Garivo data in a device backup according to your backup settings and the platform provider's policies. Webavio cannot access your Apple or Google device backups.
Premium purchases
Premium purchases are processed by Apple or Google, depending on the platform you use. Garivo reads product and transaction status from the relevant app store to unlock Premium features. Webavio does not receive your payment card details.
External services and sharing
When you choose to find a nearby station, Garivo opens Apple Maps or the corresponding mapping service with a search request. When you export or share information, you choose the destination. Information saved or sent through another service is handled according to that service's privacy practices.
Support messages
If you contact support@webavio.tech, Webavio receives your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information only to respond to and resolve your request, and retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for support and legal purposes.
Website access
When you visit the Garivo website, the hosting infrastructure may process basic technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and request time for security, reliability and server logging. The website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
Tracking and advertising
Garivo does not sell your information, track you across apps or websites, or use your information for advertising. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Retention and deletion
Your Garivo information remains on your device until you remove it. You can delete all locally stored data from the Data & Privacy screen or remove the app. Deleting Garivo cannot remove copies you previously exported or shared.
Your choices
You control the information you add, camera and notification permissions, exports and deletion. You may ask Webavio to access, correct or delete personal information contained in a support message you sent to us, subject to applicable legal requirements, by emailing the address below.
Changes to this policy
If Garivo's data practices change, this page will be updated before the new practices take effect. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
